Cold Infusion Oil

Most of my recipes are hot infusion with a crock pot. If you want a alternative way to infuse, read ahead!

 

What You'll Need: 

  • Herbs of choice
  • Carrier oil of choice
  • Parchment paper
  • Sterile glass jar
  • Skewer or stick

What To Do:

  1. Add herbs to fill the jar
  2. Add oil to cover the herbs. Use the skewer to mix the herbs to ensure everything is covered and air bubbles are eliminated.
  3. Cover the top of the jar with parchment paper before fitting the cap. Mark the Jar with the date.
  4. Store in a dark, cool place. Shake Daily for 4-6 weeks.
  5. Strain through cheesecloth or a mesh strainer.
