• 1 Mint Chocolate Mate tea bag
• 1 cup milk (or a milk alternative like almond, oat, or soy)
• 1/2 cup water
• 1-2 tsp honey or sugar or chocolate syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
Instructions:
1. Brew the tea:
Steep the tea bag in 1/2 cup of hot water (about 200°F / 93°C) for 3-5 minutes, depending on your preference for tea strength. Remove the tea bag.
2. Steam the milk:
While the tea is brewing, steam your milk using a milk frother or heat it in a saucepan over medium heat until hot (but not boiling). If you’re using a milk frother, you can froth the milk to your desired level of foam.
3. Combine the tea and milk:
Pour the brewed tea into a mug, then slowly add the steamed milk. Stir gently to combine.
4. Flavor it:
Add the sweetener of your choice (honey or sugar) to taste. Stir until well mixed.
5. Optional garnish:
You can top with a little extra foam or a dusting of cinnamon or cocoa if you want to add a special touch.
