London Fog Tea Latte Recipe

Here’s a simple recipe for a classic London Fog, a cozy and soothing tea latte made with tea, steamed milk, and vanilla.

Ingredients:

1 tea bag - try the chaga cacao chai or orange cream oolong

1 cup milk (or a milk alternative like almond, oat, or soy)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1-2 tsp honey or sugar (optional, adjust to taste)

Instructions:

1. Brew the tea:

Steep the tea bag in 1/2 cup of hot water (about 200°F / 93°C) for 3-5 minutes, depending on your preference for tea strength. Remove the tea bag.

2. Steam the milk:

While the tea is brewing, steam your milk using a milk frother or heat it in a saucepan over medium heat until hot (but not boiling). If you’re using a milk frother, you can froth the milk to your desired level of foam.

3. Combine the tea and milk:

Pour the brewed tea into a mug, then slowly add the steamed milk. Stir gently to combine.

4. Flavor it:

Add the vanilla extract and sweetener of your choice (honey or sugar) to taste. Stir until well mixed.

5. Optional garnish:

You can top with a little extra foam or a dusting of cinnamon or lavender if you want to add a special touch.

Enjoy your creamy, aromatic London Fog!
